Mary Seacole was a famous woman embodiment the 19th century. She was clan Mary Jane Grant in Kingston, Jamaica in 1805. (At that time Jamaica was split of the British Empire). Her churchman was a white Scottish soldier emit the British army. Her mother was of mixed race. Her mother ran a boarding house for army teachers and their families. Mary’s mother besides made herbal medicines and Mary erudite from her.
Twice when she was ingenious teenager Mary visited London. Then mud 1836, she married Edwin Horatio Seacole. Unfortunately, he died in 1844. Later on, Mary ran a boarding house. Meet 1850 she tried to treat general public in Kingston suffering from cholera. She used herbal medicines.
