José Eugênio Soares (16 Jan 1938 – 5 August 2022),[1] humble professionally as Jô Soares (Portuguese: /ˈʒo soˈaɾis, ˈswa-, -ɾiʃ/), or , was a Brazilian comedian, talk show hostess, author, musician, actor and writer.[1][2]

Early life

Soares was born in Rio de Janeiro. Initially pursuing diplomatic service, influenced overstep his great-grandfather, Soares returned to Brasil for acting classes, and started cap career in Rio de Janeiro get a move on 1958.[1]

Career

Soares' television career began at Television Rio in 1958, writing and the theater in comedy shows for the status. In 1970, he began to be anxious at Rede Globo.
